What this site is

Tempiful helps you spin up temporary data for development, QA, demos, and prototypes: addresses, user profiles, names, usernames, nicknames, bios, birthdays, occupations, interests, avatars, passwords, test credit cards, and disposable email inboxes. Some of that is available on the page; some of it also shows up through our public APIs.

Use it when you need something that looks real enough to fill a form or drive an automated check. Do not treat it as a source of real personal records, real banking instruments, or a permanent mailbox.

Acceptable use

You may use Tempiful only for lawful purposes. That usually means testing sign-up flows, validating forms, building fixtures, protecting your own privacy from junk mail, or similar work. If you are not sure whether a use is legal where you live, do not do it here.

Do not use generated data to impersonate a real person, open accounts under false pretenses for fraud, harass anyone, launder money, evade sanctions, or otherwise break applicable law. Do not try to bypass rate limits, paid access tiers, or security controls. We may suspend access if we believe the service is being abused.

About the generated data

Addresses, names, phone numbers, occupations, interests, bios, and similar fields are assembled from patterns, word lists, and open datasets. They may look local and valid. They are still fictional. They are not a directory of real residents, real phone subscribers, or verified workplaces.

Test credit card numbers are Luhn-valid fakes for payment sandboxes and checkout QA. They are not real cards, cannot be used for purchases, and must never be used to attempt a live charge. Passwords and passphrases we generate are random strings for test accounts — do not reuse them as the only secret on anything important.

We do not promise that any generated value is unique forever, free of collisions with real-world data, or accepted by every third-party site. If a form rejects a fake address or a gateway refuses a test card, that is between you and that system.

Temporary email

Temp mail is a short-lived inbox for catching verification codes and confirm links during tests or one-off signups. Anyone who knows the address can send mail to it. Do not paste it into public comments, group chats, or screenshots you share widely.

Do not use temp mail for banking, payment receipts, recovery of accounts you care about, work tickets, school notices, contracts, ID documents, or anything you might need next month. Addresses and messages may disappear when the session changes, cookies are cleared, or a retention window ends. If you lose access to a mailbox or miss a message, that risk is yours.

Accounts, API, and availability

Many tools work without signing in. If you create an account — email and password, one-time code, or a third-party login such as GitHub or Google — you are responsible for keeping those credentials safe and for activity under your account.

Public API endpoints may change shape, cache identical requests for a short time, or reserve some parameters for paid plans. We do not guarantee uptime, delivery speed, inbox retention, or that every feature will remain free forever. Maintenance, outages, and product changes happen.

Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided as-is and as-available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tempiful and its operators are not liable for how you use the data, for third-party sites rejecting a temp address, for payment gateways behaving oddly with test cards, for lost messages, for account lockouts caused by disposable email, or for any direct or indirect loss that comes from treating temporary tools as permanent infrastructure.

You are solely responsible for complying with the terms of any third-party service you register with using data from Tempiful. If that service bans you, demands real identity later, or deletes your account, that is not our problem to fix.

Changes

We may update these terms when the product changes. The date at the top of this page is the latest version. If you keep using Tempiful after an update is posted, you are accepting the revised terms.
